Rejected Dwarves

Everyone remembers the original 7 dwarfs (thank Spell-check for THAT version) - Doc, Sneezy, Raspy, Ecru...

But were you aware that focus groups helped the original author determine that some other character needed to be cut, so as not to spoil the beloved cast that was ultimately assembled?

(I'm asking in case you might know that's actually true, because what I'm about to suggest likely never really happened...)
