Apparently, packing my suitcase, as we departed Dayton Ohio, and my first-ever Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop:

I see that back then, even with short posts here typos could get right past my copy editor. After 7 years, he has improved only slightly...
I attended one more of those amazing writing events before having to pass on the last two.
If I can get my butt down to the upcoming NSNC conference this year as planned, it will be a fine bell-weather for getting to attend the next EBWW.

Very cool, I remember it well. Yessir, here is hoping we can get you to the NSNC conference, it has been too many years, and the Bombeck conference even longer.
