Hiding Your Light Under A Bushel

There are some old sayings that probably have lost their meaning over the years. I mean, how many bushels do you come across in your average day?

That said, I will offer what may or may not be correct with regards to hiding your light under a bushel.

(NOTE: For the purposes of this advice, consider "bushel" to be a shade or bucket.)

1) Take small light, or light that will obviously fit within the bushel  you have selected.
2) Place light on level surface, unplug for safety reasons.
3) Place bushel over light, not in plain view.

Sure sounds simple enough.

And I have no earthly idea how that was even a saying in the first place...
