We were Roadhammers last night. That's right..roadhammers!!

We caught The Roadhammers during the course of a company BBQ (hers, not mine - I couldn't afford a real hammer, let alone a Roadhammer), and DID THEY EVER KICK BUTT!!!!!!

I picked up this Canadian country band's cd after hearing the first couple of singles, and seeing them live, well, they're even better. Rocked-out versions of classic truck drivin' songs, plus catchy originals - two thumbs up from us!! As a matter of fact, I'm still wearing my cowboy hat, as I punch out this posting...

As we were out attending this function last night, I had to tape The Next Best Thing - Celebrity Impersonators. I mean, come on, ya can't miss quality TV just because of real life!!

They're down to the semi-finals (that was quick!), and we only had a chance to view a handful of the performances. Granted, they were better than during the auditions, but still a long way from a near-sighted dog yodelling "Having My Baby"...

Bring back the male Cher's, for a "Cher-off"!!!

Maybe then there'd be a new cher-off in town, pardner!!!
