I read online somewhere that Snap, of the famous “Snap Crackle & Pop” team that acted as mascots for Rice Krispies cereal (for decades) is in declining health. Always sad to see one of your childhood icons preparing to depart this mortal coil, but it is the unfortunate reality of growing older yourself.


Plus, how often was the guy immersed in cold milk? Really, doing that for a living had to add up to advanced arthritis, or maybe even lingering hypothermia. If he doesn’t pull through, we’ll just have to see what the obit says, or who to make the charitable donations for a clue as to his ultimately fatal ailment.

Of course, it could be simply old age.
