All summer long we've had a freeloading jackrabbit take up residence in our back yard. This is the second year in a row, but much longer visiting this time around...
Now that the weather has cooled off for fall, he (or she) appears to have moved on - as all rabbits eventually do, I expect he (or she) is in the middle of migrating down to a sunnier, warmer climate.
Ah, to live the life of a carefree rabbit...
Later!

Umm, I appreciate you are trying to get me not to worry about what happened to my rabbit, but seriously, rabbits do NOT migrate! Oh she was here every morning and would sleep the entire day, and then leave around 6 or 7pm for her night of frolicking. Funny to see these pics as she had gotten much fatter and whiter the last time we saw her. I sure hope she returns in the Spring.
He's a furry wee hobo, on the open road....
