She takes it all in stride though, hiding her crushing disappointment well. Most opponents wouldn’t even be able to walk away from the game table, after the welts on their ego had grown to such epic proportion. To her credit, she is almost able to carry on, as if nothing had happened. What a trouper!

This afternoon, or evening, maybe I’ll go easy on her, and let her win a few games. Dignity thrives in even small successes…
