Well, my hastily planned trip to Edmonton for my day job has turned out to be a reminder of why road trips are never a good idea in Canadian winters...
While we initially left Calgary to enjoy clear roads all the way to the outskirts of Edmonton, we ran into Old Man Winter having a snow hemorrhage all upside the entire city. It took my colleague and I almost as long to get to our destination IN Edmonton, as it did to drive there.
Today, we have sessions planned, but after talking to Mrs. That Dan Guy back home, she mentioned that there is a similar winter storm expected to hit Calgary today.
For someone hemorrhaging what would seem to be honkin' amounts of snow, Ole Man Winter sure does seem to get around...
So, crossing my fingers that we pull the pin on this adventure early, and head back to civilization...uhh..I mean home - as soon as possible.
Good grief.
Chow for now!

Yup, bad timing for sure. Companies ought to think carefully before sending their employees out in driving blizzards! Too bad you hit it going there and coming back.....took me over an hour to drive in to work on this morning...slow going.....crazy man!
Wattaya gonna do???
