After years of often daily attempts at humour and virtually any stray thought I could snare on my keyboard, I'm changing the name of this space from Such Is Life, to May I Present:.
That should still allow me to post on a wide variety of topics, but steer the focus for readers to my most common writing efforts now, on Folk, Roots, Blues & Americana music!

Some days are diamonds, some days are dust, which is a polite reference to the bullshit and gall capacity of human beings.
In other words, the classic comedy line: “Aside from that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?”
Indeed! I am happy to know that there are far more days that are diamonds though and days that are dust leave the dust-makers in the dust, leaving them blind to the diamonds around them.
